This Policy does not describe collection inside the Waide Academy application (app.waideacademy.com), such as dialogue, lesson play, or in-game progress. That collection is described in the Waide Academy Privacy Policy at waideacademy.com/privacy.

The Services are intended for users in the United States. If you access them from elsewhere, your information may be processed in the United States.

1. Our Commitment

We do not sell or rent personal information. We do not use the Services covered by this Policy for targeted advertising, advertising pixels, or cross-site behavioral tracking.

2. What We Collect

We collect only what is needed for the way you use the Services:

Waide account (on account.thewaidecompany.com): name, email, password (through our authentication provider), date of birth, gender, ZIP code, and how you heard about us (including an optional referrer when you select that option)
Contact form (on thewaidecompany.com): name, email, subject, message, and anything else you choose to include
Purchases (through the account portal): name, email, product, payment status, amount, date, transaction reference, and related account access (card data is handled by our payment processor, not stored by us in full)
Academy setup on your Waide account: when you enable Academy features in your profile, we may collect Cadet profile fields you enter there (such as Cadet name, date of birth, gender, optional email, Academy username and login PIN, and link between the Cadet and your account). Gameplay and dialogue data are collected in the Academy app and are covered by the Academy Privacy Policy.
Technical data: session and sign-in data, IP address, browser or device type, timestamps, and security or error logs needed to run and protect the Services

3. How We Use and Share Information

We use personal information to provide and secure the Services, manage Waide accounts, process purchases, set up Academy access and Cadet profiles at the account level, respond to contact messages, send service and security emails, enforce our terms, comply with law, and improve our products.

We do not sell personal information. We may share limited information with service providers that help us operate the Services (such as hosting, database, authentication, email, and payment processing) only as needed for their work for us. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect safety and rights, to address fraud or abuse, or when you direct us to do so.

4. Cookies

We use cookies and similar technologies mainly to keep you signed in on the account portal, maintain security, and support basic site function. We do not use third-party advertising or behavioral tracking cookies on the Services covered by this Policy.

5. Children

Waide accounts are not offered to children under 13 on account.thewaidecompany.com. An authorized adult may use the account portal to create and manage a Cadet profile for Waide Academy after any required setup and consent described in the Academy policies.

If you believe a child under 13 submitted personal information through the Services without proper authorization, contact admin@waidecompany.com and we will take appropriate steps.

6. Retention, Security, and Your Choices

We retain information only as long as needed to provide the Services, maintain accounts, complete transactions, keep security and records required by law, and resolve disputes. When no longer needed, we delete or de-identify it, subject to backup cycles.

We use reasonable safeguards, but no online system is perfectly secure. Protect your credentials and notify us if you suspect compromise.

Email admin@waidecompany.com to request access, correction, or deletion of your Waide account or account-level Cadet profile information, or to ask a privacy question. We may verify your identity. Deleting an account may affect linked Cadet profiles as described in our systems and the Academy Privacy Policy.

We send transactional and service-related email as needed. We do not send promotional email unless you have opted in where we offer that option.

Residents of some U.S. states may have additional privacy rights (such as access, deletion, or correction). We do not sell personal information or use it for targeted advertising as defined by those laws. To exercise rights, email admin@waidecompany.com. We will not discriminate against you for exercising applicable rights.

7. Other Sites and Contact

Links to the Academy marketing site, Academy app, or other third parties are governed by their own policies.

We may update this Policy by posting a new “Last Updated” date. Material changes may include additional notice where appropriate.
